Lowes Charlotte , electrical supplies, okay let’s discuss Lowes Charlotte one of the largest home improvement stores chains in the United States  . As electrical contractor we do primarily service work  . This means we’re doing large number of small jobs each day . As we strive to stock the trucks with as many items as possible it is still necessary many times to make a trip to a local Charlotte Lowes store . I find overall that Lowes is much cleaner than their competitor . When you walk into a Lowes store it really has a different feel than the other box store , in that it is clean and it seems to be more in the homeowner based environment  .

I like this because I want things easy to find and I like a nice clean atmosphere in which to shop .  I have found the pricing to be competitive over the years with the other box store as I’m sure that they are comparing prices back and forth and have their own particular specials that they run in order to bring people into the stores  . One specific feature that I really do like about Lowes Charlotte is that if you’re in any particular part of the store and you need assistance from one of their knowledgeable associates you can simply push a button and it pages and individual to come to that section and help you with whatever it is that you need help with . The other box stores do not offer this feature and it can be somewhat frustrating at times to find someone to come and help you in a certain department that you are shopping in . This is particularly helpful for homeowners who may not know exactly what they’re looking for . As far as the advice on how to do a certain type of job that’s pretty much hit and miss .

While these stores do try to hire people that have some knowledge in the different trades that they are representing in the different sections of the store I have found their experience to be somewhat minimal as the years go by . In all honesty the other store used to have a policy of having people that were actually in the trades and some of them are still lingering . So if you need real advice from a true professional you may want to call around to Lowes Charlotte stores or the other box store and see if they have in fact a person on staff who has knowledge and experience in the very trade associated with the project that you were undertaking . Another great feature of Lowes is there availability . They have just installed a new store on South Boulevard and from what I have seen it is up to par with the rest of the stores as far as quality and selection . This is just another great way that Lowes serves the community by having various locations so that no matter what job you are on you can quickly go drop by a local Lowes Charlotte store get in get the material that you need in get out and get the job done .

As well is if you’re a homeowner there is usually a store close by you where you can go and pick up the materials and supplies for whatever job or home improvement projects you may be undertaking . As far as the electrical section is concerned just about everything is there that you could need . If you’re searching for light fixtures many people believe that these types of stores have a poor selection . Nothing could be further from the truth in fact they have catalogs where you can order special order items that would be truly one-of-a-kind and you can choose from their vast selection of up-to-date modern contemporary and traditional style light fixtures . When a light fixture becomes a hot item in the new construction field or in hiring housing these types of stores are quick to pick up on the trend and start carrying lines that are in step with the current fashions and trends in lighting and design . As well if you’re looking to do a kitchen or bathroom remodel these types of stores are great asset as you can go in and do a one-stop shopping list get pricing on all the different items that you want and compared them against other stores basically with just one or 23 trips to the store . You can also fax in a request of items for a price list to their protest and received bids back on the actual material via e-mail and or fax . This is a great timesaver if you already know what you want and are just looking for the best price and value in the materials that you’re looking for .

It’s a great idea to go to a store like this and just browse the different display items. If you’re looking for granite countertops or some sort of cabinetry many times a small sample does not give you a accurate depiction of exactly what is going to look like in your home . By going to differ show room since seeing the actual materials in place in a mock kitchen or bathroom set up is an invaluable resource helping you to make decisions as far as what materials to gather for your home improvement project .
